The designs of the ten finalists (Spastor, Christine Phung, Takayuki Tanaka & Motoyuki Matsumot, Haesung Bong, Harvey Bouterse, Tuomas Laitinen, Stefanie Malgreen de Oliveira & Richard Lindqvist, Mads Dinesen, Takashi Nishiyama and the winner Wisharawish Akarasantisook) were presented to the over 400 guests during a dinner.

The Mango Fashion Award was founded in 2007 and supports upcoming young designers in the international fashion world. The competition is supported by five of the most renowned international design-schools of Europe; Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London, Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerpen and Escola Superior de Disseny in Barcelona as co-organizers.
