Swarovski und Anna Dello Russo kollaborieren mit gemeinsamer Schmuckkollektion und Auktion

Anna Dello Russo hat eine Capsule Collection namens Atelier Swarovski by Anna dello Russo entworfen. Mit den majestätischen Schmuckstücken, die zugleich mondän und verträumt sind, soll sich die Trägerin wie eine Märchenprinzessin fühlen.

Mehr als 1800 Kristalle wurden für die Kollektion verarbeitet, deren Inspiration die klassische Porträtmaleriei, die Adelige darstellt, ist. Die Umsetzung strahlt dennoch Annas Dello Russos Sinn für Popkultur aus. Der Traum eine kristallbesetzte Krone zu tragen wird nun wahr für jede, deren Stil kühn dafür genug ist.

Die zehnteilige Kollektion besteht aus zwei Sets in den Farben Siam & Chrystal und Golden Shadow & Crystal. Die Sets enthalten je eine Tiara, ein Paar Ohrringe und eine Statement Halskette. Frei kombinierbar dazu gibt es vier barocke Kristallbroschen.

Die Atelier Swarovski by Anna dello Russo Kollektion ist ab September exklusiv bei Swarovski erhältlich.

Am Abend des 24. Februars 2018 findet, zeitgleich zur Veröffentlichung des ADR Buches, eine besondere Auktion von Anna Dello Russos Lieblingsstücken aus den Modearchiven bei Christie`s in Mailand statt. Um Fashionistas mit allen Budgets diesen Modetraum zugänglich zu machen gibt es günstige Startpreise. Alle Erlöse kommen Annas philantropischer Stiftung ADR Beyond Fashion und dem Swarovski Foundation Scholarship Program, das Nachwuchstalente der Modebranche fördert, zugute.

Mit Federn und 500 Swarovski Kristallen erschuf Gareth Pugh ein Headpiece, das Anna Dellos Russos gewagten Sinn für Eleganz mit Swarovskis funkelnden Kristallen verschmilzt. Der Designer kreierte das Einzelstück exklusiv für die Auktion.

'The New Jazz Age'



For the Spring Summer 2012 season, Veronica Etro offers a clear return to elegance.

At its core, the collection has been distilled to essentials. The simplification of silhouettes and prints, however, takes on a new life with a touch of the modern Jazz Age, a theme that weaves its way around the collection in a subtle but consistent way.



Inspired by Futurist artist Fortunato Depero, Etro’s signature prints have been reduced to their most simple forms. The House paisley has been deconstructed until it resembles a broken collage. Stenciled florals and paisleys have a new modern look; geometrics are effortlessly folded into the mix, adding an exotic edge. An innovative new technique involves printing a fabric, then plisse pleating it, and then overprinting again to create burnt inky edges on the pleats. Also new this season: patterns have been strategically placed to emphasize the curves of the body, and black or white curved inserts break the visual space.



This season’s materials are silky and fluid, yet possess a weighty quality that gives them a more luxurious hand. Devoré, crêpe de Chine, silk and satin flow easily around the body and underscore a distinct femininity. Meanwhile, intricate stone or thread embroideries, and large tiled pailettes, showcase the capabilities of Etro’s exquisite workmanship. The fabrics are rendered in sorbet colors, like apricot, mint, raspberry, lemon, peach, cream and ice blue, mixed with harder pop colors like lime green or poppy orange. Black block trim cuts the softness.



The drop waist or no waist dress takes center stage in the collection. With trompe

l’oeil V fronts, halter necks, the dresses feature simple, yet unusual constructions.

Curved hems show off lower layers of silky fringe or printed plissé. Negative geometric space and strategic cut outs add a sportiness, while the sliced strips on the lower halves create a dance-like movement. The same loose, boxy shapes are applied to tops and skirts which appear to be one piece. Short shorts are made in compact knits, worn with printed silk shirts, long cardigans, kimono coats or tuxedo jackets.

which hosted the round runway. The atmosphere was relaxed, chic and exclusive with light Jazz music playing and drinks being passed around.

Roberto Cavalli evolves the elegance and tailoring of the last collection, freeing the man from the rigour of Winter and dressing him with the freshness and positivity of Summer.

The jacket is rigorously cut with a close-fitting back, a narrow front with generously proportioned, embroidered lapels.

Italian tailoring is enriched with colour, embroidered thread and embellishments.

Leather is the protagonist for much of the collection: American inspiration for blazers and jackets made in suede and python with precious tassles, paired with denim and linen in bright, bold colours.

The casual tuxedo suits are illuminated with sashes of embroidered silk. The silhouette enhances the long line of the body.

The loafers are made from an intricate woven leather with python detailing, characterised by handmade finishing and assembly; an expression of pure Florentine artisanship.

The pants harmoniously follow the line of the leg.

Authentic masculine tailoring fabrics, such as mohair, grain de poudre and linen/silk, are interpreted through the use of colour and specialised weaving techniques.



Prints are present as all-over micro-designs, vertical graphics and photographic reinterpretations of specialised leather processing from the archives of Cavalli.

This is my absolutly favourite collection of S/S 12! Everything was perfect; the location, the show, the models, the atmosphere and the collection itself of course :) Combining the glamour of old Jetset with refined, italian design and luxurious fabrics. I love the confidence and the elegance of the looks.
