Daria Werbowy graced Roberto Cavalli`s S/S 13 invitation.
The show opened with all white outfits, that impressed by their opulent fabrics & details
like laser cut leather, white embroideries and chiffon with applications.
Moving on to tender dresses in peach, lemon and kiwi, light, yet loaded with details
like different types of lace, ribbons and strap constructions.
Summery outfits in ultra-light silk and chiffons come in fruit-, floral & paisley prints.
The show ended with breathtaking black evening dresses.
Sexy & daring through cut-outs and ultra-low front- & back-cleavages,
but classy & luxurious by swinging skirts, 1920s references and the excellent workmanship, of course. The embroidery and stitching on of all the stones, pearls & elements must have taken hundreds of hours.
So much love for detail makes my heart jump with joy! Nobody creates showstopper evening dresses like Roberto Cavalli. I don`t seize to be amazed how he puts so many luxurious, dazzling details onto a dress without ever making it overpower the woman who wears it. His evening dresses are like an orchestration of the female body, following it`s curves, using a maximum of details to make it shine. His stunning gowns were the my favourite dresses of Milan Fashion Week.
What are your favourite details of this wonderful collection?
I think Roberto cavalli's evening dresses are the very best, but it looks like much of the show was fabulous. Love all the sequins and ribbons.
