The contrast of slim sartorial tailoring to oversize jackets & trench coats dominates the collection.
Details are hand applied velvet top collars, contrast equestrian cord collars, bound bordered undercollars, oversize gold metal luggage zips with leather pullers, adjustable equestrian waist belts, horn buttons, engineered sartorial quilt linings, woodland beaded owl intarsia and beaded appliqué fox heads.
The Burberry umbrella is the gentleman`s accessory of choice this season: English resin animal head handle college stripe umbrellas, leather-bound studded handle solid colour umbrellas, gold finish animal head handle umbrellas, wood animal handle geometric stripe umbrellas, hand-painted duck-, owl-, & hound handle umbrellas.
Colours range from smoky beige, khaki, dark marigold, burgundy, plum, oxblood, dark hyacinth, royal purple, turmeric, gingerwood, Ceylon brown, walnut brown, chocolate, canvas blue, regency blue, ink, teal blue, indigo green, dark green, lime grey, grey mélange to black and white.

Paris In The Rain – The Waterboys
Nessun Dorma – Turandot – Jeff Beck
What a beautiful, contemporary version of the british gentleman! Loving it!
How do you like the collection?
I like how they combine classical elegance with modern cuts, colours and patterns. I'm not fond of the animal heads on the shirts and sweaters, but the suits and coats are great, typically Burberry. :)
ReplyDeleteThe "Gentlemen" look is fab. :) Such good-looking men too. :)

Love the Gentleman look! Don't know if I would want my man to look so polished.
