Ellen von Unwerth has been on the list of photographers, that Düsseldorf`s art museum number one, Forum NRW, would love to exhibit for a long time. Sponsor Schwarzkopf could win her to produce an exclusive range of photos for them.
The former model Ellen von Unwerth became one of the outstanding photographers of our time and shows looks from a unique perspective.
Berlin calling - a new kind of inspiration is born when streetart meets glamour.
The pictures were shot from september until december 2010 in Berlin`s Cult-Club Tresor.
They feature topmodels Lydia Hearst, Coco Rocha, Eliza Cummings, Karolin Wolter as well as Burlesque dancers and underground artists.
The looks range from bondage, boyfriend to glamour and are a hommage to international fashion trends, style icons and street styles.
"My vision during the realisation of these looks was, to create pictures, that are authentic, glamorous and progressive." sais Ellen von Unwerth.
The looks were styled by Martina Riebeck, who picked Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana and other contemporary pieces of fashion. Hairstyling was done by Armin Morbach of Schwarzkopf.
The result of this unique collaboration is an exhibition of contemporary, wild, glamorous and sexy pictures of Berlin`s excessive nightlife.
